Commuter Hub
- With Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s commuter population growing to more than 100 students, there is a need to give commuters programs and facilities to make them feel at home. We have repurposed a space on the lower level of the Benham-Pence Student Center into the Traveling Tigers Commuter Hub. Learn More

- Located in the Thomas Library, the COMPASS Sweet Success Center is the place to go if you are looking to get connected to resources. They can assist you with academic skill development, tutoring, general and advising questions as well as getting you connected to other support offices such as accessibility services and career services. - Do you have a work award as part of your financial aid package? Are you looking to make some money during the down time between classes? An on campus job is a great way for a commuter student to become better connect to the campus and earn some extra money at the same time. Learn More

Tips for Commuters
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) offers these tips to help commuters become more involved in the campus community:
- Study on-campus after classes and on the weekends
- Organize regular study groups
- Include time to meet with your professors in your everyday schedule
- Get involved in a student club or organization
- Participate in student government
- Eat in the dining hall
- Make an effort to meet new people from different backgrounds
- Make friends with people who live in the residence halls or Witten'Burbs
- Take public transportation or car pool so that you have more time to study
- Work on campus
