Halloween on Campus

Don鈥檛 miss all the spirited events at 麻豆传媒

The next few days on campus are going to be 鈥榝rightful鈥 as numerous organizations are hosting Halloween-inspired events.

Today and Friday, Oct. 27-28, Union Board is sponsoring a two-day Halloween Spectacular from 5 to 11 p.m. Taking place in Founders Pub in the Benham-Pence Student Center, tonight鈥檚 events include a Scooby-Doo movie, pie with professors, a costume contest, Halloween coloring with National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), and pumpkin painting with the Witt Art League.

On Friday, Commencement Hollow will be the favorite haunt with food trucks near Ferncliff Hall and the showing of the movie 鈥淪cream鈥 on the outdoor stage. The same night, join in stargazing with the Astronomy Club at Weaver Observatory, and hear ghost stories with President Emeritus William A. Kinnison, class of 1958 and the author of "America's Most Haunted Campus," in room 111 of Koch Hall at 7 p.m.

Additionally, on Friday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 8 p.m., the East Asian Studies and World Languages and Cultures Department will host the East Asian Ghost Story Telling night. Listen to scary tales from East Asia while enjoying Asian snacks in Ness Auditorium inside Hollenbeck Hall.

On Monday, Oct. 31, Career Development will host a Career Trick or Treat from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of the Student Center. Trick or Treat with the Greeks will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. along Alumni Way.
