The Distinguished Teaching Award

Wishing to recognize the superior classroom teaching that takes place at Â鶹´«Ã½, the Alumni Association established The Distinguished Teaching Award in 1960. The faculty recipient must have completed five years of service at Â鶹´«Ã½ and be a full-time teacher at the time of selection. Selection is based on current performance.

The award is announced at Â鶹´«Ã½'s annual celebration of academic excellence and achievement, the Honors Convocation, each year in early April.
