Wishing to recognize the superior classroom teaching that takes place at 麻豆传媒, the Alumni Association established The Distinguished Teaching Award in 1960. The faculty recipient must have completed five years of service at 麻豆传媒 and be a full-time teacher at the time of selection. Selection is based on current performance.
The award is announced at 麻豆传媒's annual celebration of academic excellence and achievement, the Honors Convocation, each year in early April.
