Dr. Marcia Frost, taught courses in economic history, economic development, labor and principles before her retirement from Â鶹´«Ã½. Her research interests focus on demographic, agrarian and technological change, and their interactions with each other and social, political and economic institutions. Her publications include "Coping with Scarcity: Wild Foods and Common Lands" and numerous book reviews in economic history and Asian Studies journals. A recent senior Fulbright scholar, she has had research affiliations with the London School of Economics, Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad and Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. A graduate of Carleton College (B.A.) and the University of Pennsylvania (M.A. and Ph.D.), she came to Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2001.
